Learning and Implementing the Eagles Flight Pattern

Tip # 1 - Attend a TER as quickly as you can after you sign up.

There is a direct correlation between people who attend a SendOutCards treat'Em Right Seminar and those who become successful with SendOutCards.

At TER seminars you get the "why" behind SendOutCards. That's important. Once you understand the "why" behind the importance of sending cards you'll automatically double or triple the speed of your success.

In addition, at TER events you'll be able to meet with company leaders and other like-minded SendOutCards associates who have the same goals and aspirations as you do. You'll be able to connect with potential mentors and friends that will help you down the road to achieving your goals.

So, my advice is to find out when the next TER seminar is going to be held and do everything you can to attend.

Tip # 2 - Immediately send out 10 cards to the people that you love the most in the world.

The true power behind SendOutCards manifests itself when you start expressing your positive feelings toward people. The beauty behind SendOutCards is that it almost forces you to express feelings that you've always felt, but never communicated.

A few words of encouragement or complements have the power to change people's lives. When you send out your first 10 cards to people you love and you express yourself in writing, you'll magically feel a spark inside you that you always had, but has been dormant.

And when people start calling you up to thank you for the card you sent to them and expressing their feelings as well, you'll immediately get hooked on sending cards.

Tip # 3 - Use your Memory Jogger to quickly start building your contact manager.

Many people will tell you that they don't think that they know many people. You'll be amazed at how many people you DO know...you've just never taken the time to list all them.

The memory jogger helps you do just that. After a serious "memory jogger session" you'll be astounded at how many people you really know.

Every one of these people need to know about SendOutCards and experience the power of sending heartfelt greeting cards to people. Use the memory jogger to help you fill your contact manager as soon as you sign up for SendOutCards.

Tip # 4 - Don't be a penny pincher when sending cards to people.

When you send cards to people, don't think about how much it's costing you. If you do, you'll find yourself not sending very many cards. Instead, think of how many people you're helping.

Think of how many people you're making feel better about themselves. Think about how much you'll be helping them to simplify their lives make them more productive. Think about how they will feel about you when they receive your heartfelt card.

Listen, the more it's been proven - - the more cards you send, the bigger and faster your business will grow. If you're sending out one card a day, start sending two.

If you're sending out two cards, start sending out four cards. If you're sending out four cards a day, start sending out eight cards. Double your card sending and you'll double your business.

But if you have a scarcity mentality because you're focusing on the cost of the cards that you're sending out, you'll never reach your long term goals, and you'll never reach your full potential. (And you'll never make a six figure income with SendOutCards...guaranteed.)

Tip # 5 - Be consistent with meeting new people every single day.

SendOutCards is a people business. Without the people, there is no business. You have to have someone to introduce SendOutCards to and so you need to "put yourself in front of" as many people as you can. This is not hard to do. There are so many ways to meet new people. Here are just a few ...

1. Attend networking meetings around your city.

2. Find online forums that deal with topics you're interested in and start to contribute to those forums.

3. Attend church on a regular basis (don't do church hop just to meet people :-)

4. Ask your friends to introduce you to their friends.

5. Start requesting to do presentations at local networking meetings around the city.

6. Join hobby groups or volunteer groups in your city (like Habitat for Humanity).

7. Participate in online social networking sites like Linkin.com, meetup.com, Ryze.com, or ecademy.com.

The more people you know ... the more people you can show.

Tip # 6 - Make sure you follow up on the phone!

Jim Packard says that things didn't start happening for him until he called people up on the phone.  Jordan Adler says the same thing.  Here is his exact words...

"It's not what you say  in the cards that will make a difference. HERE'S THE KEY: Your phone won't ring if you just SendOutCards with DVD's. I got on the phone and started walking people through sending cards on gift accounts .

Its not WHAT YOU SAY IN A CARD as much as it is THAT YOU WALK SOMEONE THROUGH SENDING A CARD. That's what get's them interested."

In fact, I had a fellow send me a card five times. I was meaning to call him up to say thank you but never did. I was eventually sent a card and contacted by Rob Fore who signed me up in less than 45 seconds. That was the most lucrative phone call that Rob Fore ever made.

Tip # 7 - Don't "talk" about SendOutCards, SHOW SendOutCards.

You can talk about SendOutCards until you're blue in the face, but people will not really understand it until you show it to them.

They must experience it themselves before they make forward with SendOutCards. There is simply no substitute for showing people how SendOutCards works.

It's been my experience that the more you talk about it, the more messy the conversation gets. They start asking questions that you simply can't answer adequately unless they were seeing it themselves.

So instead of talking about SendOutCards, simply say, "Are you by your computer and do you have an internet connection? Good, because I want to show you something that's going to blow you away." And then show it to them.

If they don't have time or they are not near an internet connection, then wait until they are.

Tip # 8 - If you want to dramatically increase your business, help people do what you do.

The big money in SendOutCards is not necessarily in introducing SendOutCards to people but working with the people that have joined to help them be successful at what you do. This is called "duplication" and that's where the BIG MONEY is.

Here's point in case. As of this writing (January 2007) I have introduced SendOutCards to 265 people and my last month's earnings were around $17,000. Jordan Adler has brought in around 110 people and his monthly earnings are around $60,000.

Why the big difference?

He works extremely hard at mentoring, training, and motivating his team. I haven't done a lot of that (until now). That's the difference. I've brought in over twice as many people as Jordan and he makes more than three times what I make. Enough said.

Tip # 9 - Keep it simple!

There is an old axiom in marketing that says that "confused minds always say 'NO'." When your marketing program includes a lot of complicated bells and whistles, people will get confused and not do anything. The simpler your program the easier it will be to get people to do it. That's just a fact.

That's why Jordan Adler keeps drilling into his team to do three things. 1. Send an unexpected card every day. 2. Send a DVD every day. 3. Walk one person through a gift account every day. That's his formula for success and it works!

Jordan says that, "Every twist, turn or angle you include in your marketing process will slow down progress because it forces people to have to decide on what to do. When they stop to decide, they stop forward motion and lose time." So keep it simple. Don't feel the need to get fancy with your marketing.

Tip # 10 -  Be patient...it will pay off.

When you send a card, think of it as planting a seed. That seed might not sprout immediately, but over time it will continue to grow and blossom.

It's taken most successful SendOutCards distributors at least four to five months before they start hitting their stride. You really need to be patient in your first several months.

Don't get discouraged if people don't sign up immediately. They will in time. If you plant the seed, it will sprout, and you will start to quickly build your team.

The key is to do what it takes to get to Senior Manager. Introducing SendOutCards is a learning process. Over time you'll get better and better and finding new people to talk to and you'll get better and better at walking people through a gift account.

Before you know it, you'll be getting four figure checks, which will really get your engines fired up. And then there will be nothing to stop you.
